Whereon is built to need as little about you as possible. You can search without an account.

Without an account

• Your ZIP code, selected services and preferences are stored in a cookie on your device, not on our servers.
• Your device's time zone is stored in a cookie so we can show local times.
• If you choose “Use my current location,” your browser shares coordinates once; we convert them to a ZIP code and don't keep the coordinates.

With an account

• We store your email address, your ZIP code, the services, plans and add-ons you tell us about, your viewing preferences and a history of changes to your services.
• Your services are self-reported. We never ask for, receive or store passwords for streaming or TV services, and we don't connect to those accounts.
• Sign-in uses a one-time email link. We store a session record (including IP address and browser) to keep you signed in and protect your account.
• Your saved services are private. They're never shown on public pages or shared links.

Problem reports

• If you use “Something wrong?” on an answer, we store what you report: the title or game, the option, the problem you chose, a corrected price or link if you give one, and any details you type. We don't store your account, IP address or device with it, so please don't include personal information in the details.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from the Account page. That permanently removes your account, services, location, preferences and history. To clear device data, clear this site's cookies.
